Fat PantaniDoes the job although bulky, no complaints
PeterGood quality , well fitting part. Very pleased.
Mr terryJust right ,lovely fit and easy to set up.
George B.Sturdy, excellent product.
StephenPerfect fit and strong design.
chrisSimple, but brilliant. Easy to use and set up. Works perfectly and weighs nothing.
JohnPerfect fit and does the job great. Lightweight construction means don`t exceed the torque rating when tightening but well worth the money and while I only bought as shimano one I had before was out of stock, I think I prefer this one
JamieFits and works perfectly with an Ultegra CX70 derailluer.
BikerPa48Nice quality lightweight front mech clamp. Well worth the money.
JasonHelped complete my self build- good price and quality.
Mr ReyesSolid clamp for bikes without the braze on mech plate.
Mr LujanWorks well with Shimano Ultegra front derailluer
Ben RiceA great solution to the number of braze on front mechs out these days. The piece is light and spreads the clamping force across a wider area than most factory clamps. I was surprised by the nice fit and finish of this part.
Mr HumphreyWorks great and nice price. Stiffer than the carbon band I had before (which eventually broke), and shifting is as least as good if not better.
DrakeQuality light weight clamp, no issues
LewisNo complaints whatsoever. A functional and unobtrusive design which is easy to fit.
Mr BurnistonGets the job done and feels nice and sturdy! Great price also.
WoltersDoes exactly what it is supposed to do. I like this design better than some others at the clamp is wider so spreads the load more over the seat tube.
AdamsStrong, light and compact. I bought it because the previous clamp brushed the case when I fitted 25mm tyres. This solves the problem, although I did have to shorten the clamping bolt for similar reasons. My only criticism is that the mech side of the clamp is flat - so there is only one position for the mech, which is why I had to shorten the bolt.
MattDoes what it's intended to do. Note however that it doesn't include the bolt to hold on the derailleur, so you may have to procure another bolt if (like my Record braze-on derailleur) the bolt supplied with your derailleur has a captive curved washer on it.
Rudolf LuthiSeems to do the job, haven't noticed it since I installed it.
Mr BodgeDoes the job perfectly. Converts one of the newer direct mount front mechs to a more traditional clamp on type.
Mr PrattSolid and very light.
Mr PROKOPIOUIt is light and it looks good. Ideal choice.
Mr RobitailleLight and perfect fit
Miss LillyQuite bulky and ugly looking when its on the frame; there are much better looking, sleeker clamps available, but they are more expensive. Other than that, it works well - there's minimal height/drop adjustment to be had at the mech fixing point, but the band fixes securely.
CarlHad toget one of these as there were no band on 105 front mech's in stock. Does the job well, strong, secure and light. Good on a carbon frame distributing the clamping force
Mr JonesThe clamp was perfect, just what I needed to complete a build. The Mech bolted straight onto it without any issues. My roadbike is now ready to go! 5 stars to merlin for a great item at a good price.
Mr o reillyLight and secure clamping.
Mr MunroVery neat and light piece although positioning of the Allen bolt gets in the way if you are fitting Crud Road Racer MK2 Guards wit the extension to protect the front mech.
