Park Tools

Park

Park Tools started in 1963 in the cold climate of St.Paul Minnesota and have since gone on to become the largest producer of bicycles tools in the world.  Park Tools have dedicated it’s time to producing high quality, highly usable tools for the cycle market, coupled with excellent customer care they are the premium choice of professionals and amateurs alike.

Park Tools goals and achievements are forged from more than 50 years of experience and dedication in the bicycle industry.  This began in local bike stores where they learned first-hand the ever changing needs of the bicycle mechanic and indeed the machine itself.   The first product to hit the shelves was the PRS-1 repair stand, so good it was granted a U.S patent and versions of which are still in production today!  Many of its tools went on to also hold patents and today its catalogue of goods stands at over 300 lines.

In April of 2013 Park celebrated its 50th anniversary and moved to its fourth location, an 80,000 square foot purpose build manufacturing plant.  This expansion enabled the company to produce more of what it loves in house including more of its famous how-to-videos.

Park Tools also sponsor and seemingly never ending list of professional teams who not only love its products but also test out new lines.  Giant-Shimano, BMC, Sky, Garmin-Sharp and Team Jelly Belly are just a few of the big names in its portfolio.

Park Tools are always adapting to the ever changing cycle environment and to this day they are constantly seeking new ways to improve the repairing and maintenance of bicycles.  Whether out on the road in the Tour De France or at home in the garage, Park Tools hopes to be an ever present guide in the sport of cycling.
