This is a fairly short-term review of this group set since I've only had it a couple weeks.

Centaur, which Campy no longer makes, was their leading 10-speed design. So while Centaur is substantially cheaper than Record or Super Record, it is not a second-rate group and does not feel or look cheap. Especially if you go with the carbon cranks, which really do look sweet. When you hit hills you can shift several gears down the cassette with a single throw--a feature that I like. There is a satisfying "kerchunk" as you change into a harder gear, and if everything's properly adjusted the shifts are fast and the drivetrain quiet. You won't be at a competitive disadvantage with Centaur. The more expensive 11-speed groups will give you an extra cog and a few other nice features (e.g., a no cross-chaining front derailleur, lighter weight), but the competitive advantages are pretty marginal. This is probably the best value in the Campy line.

A few oddities. First, the brakes don't have the quick-open levers. Not a big deal if you set the calipers far enough apart. The rear derailleur also doesn't have a b-limit screw, which is somewhat annoying.
