Works great but you have to wait for the GPS signal which in my area seems to take awhile to lock on.
Good unit. Not the easiest to setup but good for price
Great value for money, a bit hard to set up, but when you've got used to it easy to download to strava with cateye sync
Early days, but the computer seems to work fine on the bike with all functions as advertised. However trying to transfer onto my imac has not been succesful. I spent around an hour trying different sites to download to but the computer doesn't seem to recognise the unit. Reviewers say that phoning Cateye is helpful so will give them a call.
This is a very cheap GPS Computer but does the job. The fitting is fiddly but is versatile as you have two different positions, the handlebars or the stem. This is useful if you have flat handlebars. Not many computers offer this choice. The display is very clear and easy to read. My only complaint is the device comes with few written intsructions and you are directed to the Cateye website. I couldn't be bothered and managed to work it out. I haven't yet found a true stopwatch facility so it may not have one. Otherwise an economical Computer.
Set up straightforward, once full instructions downloaded from the cateye website (as recommended in other reviews). Initial search for satellites takes some time, subsequent operation quick. Functions well, just need to remember to reset the unit at the end of each ride, otherwise car journey home from the trails is also recorded. Battery life seems pretty good. For the money would recommend.
Excellent item, arrived quickly too. Easy to use, good to use as a motivator for the less 'enthused' cyclist!
This seems a nice cycle computer and being GPS saves the need to attach a transmitter to your fork. It seems very accurate and best of all is waterproof. However, it comes with very basic instructions and for a more detailed guide I had to download instructions from Cateye website. It has a built in rechargeable battery so time will tell how long that lasts. Bonus is you can download rides to Strava saving the need to use a smart phone etc.
Great product, I only wanted something basic that I could link with strava and this is perfect, easy to use, large display makes seeing it easy when in use. Does what it says on the tin
On a budget this is a great piece of kit. Easily followed instructions, a simple but effective display and a doddle to fit. The software support I've used to date gives you all the essential data from a trips with easy to use transfer and synchronisation of information.
