Mr MSissonGreat computer. Bought this as a replacement because I lost my last one. I hadn't clicked it in properly and it pinged off down a bumpy hill. I'm pretty sure it was my fault. Cheap, easy to set up, and gives you just the information you need.
Mr TarringExcellent bike computer with the all important cadence function, helps to get your legs spinning at the right speed. A bargain at the price especially if you compare to the wireless version.
Mr ÅgrenVery good! Easy to use and install! I bought one to my wife too :)
Mr StephensonEasy to set up on bike. Easy to use. Easy to read while riding-no glare. Very happy worked as described on website.
Mr PetersI had a wireless computer before but it was always a bit temperamental and in the end stopped picking up the signal from the speedo altogether. A wired computer is more reliable and only at the cost of a few cable ties on the bike. Reasonably straightforward to install. Button mechanism on the front makes it easy to control while riding with heavy winter gloves on. I would definitely recommend.
Mr YoungGreat compact computer, easy to set up, looks neat and does everything needed.
Mr harmanGreat little gadget very easy to install and operate. Althouth it is wired I have used small pieces of Gorilla tape rather than the supplied cable ties to attatch wire to underside of down tube so the wire is discreetly hidden away. Perfect for monitoring cadence on the turbo trainer and for the money it does the job very well and has all the data options I need when out on the road.
Mr GarciaSimple, but with the main functions.
Iain RandallExcellent for what I wanted it for, the wireless options are tidier but for setting it up on my trainer bike the rear wheel was out of range of the sensor on my CatEye 2 The only issues I came across with the fitting was that the cranks on my venerable Trek 1000 did not pass close enough to the Cadence Sensor to register it, the recommended distance was just 3mm, mine was a great deal larger gap. This was overcome by the stealing of light fittings, more accurately the rubber spacers underneath them, off my partners rusty and underused bike to pad out the sensor to close up the distance. I also found the sticker sticking the magnet on my crank didn't last five minutes, luckily the head of the allen bolt holding my pedals on was a nice cosy spot for it to snuggle into and after a quick adjustment to the Sensor housing on the chainstay everything has been fine since. Merlin price was the best I found even before the 10% checkout discount so overall very happy with it all. Recommended, just marking it down one star for issues of description and, can you believe it, the quality of the sensor magnet stick on backing. Small, but easy enough to correct at source.
Mr JonesGreat little computer, looks good & easy to use. Initial set up is very straight forward. Only downside I found is the magnet that goes on the crank had to be glued on, as the sticky pad that comes with it didn't work. All in all a good little package, highly recommend.
