Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5" Kev 3C Exo TR Mountain Bike Tyre
The Minion DHR II is a complete redesign. Acceleration, cornering and braking have all been improved. The shoulder knobs were borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF and then beefed up to handle duty as a rear tyre. The center tread has been heavily ramped and siped to roll fast and track straight under braking. Pair the DHR II with the Minion DHF for the ultimate aggressive riding combo!

  • Redesigned, wider shoulder knobs for better cornering
  • Paddle-like centre knobs for improved braking
  • Ramped and siped tread to roll fast and track straight under braking

Technology

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. Our TR tyres use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight.

RobAs good as the reviews said it would be. Easy to fit and seal running tubeless and delivered quicker than quoted.
Mr ScottIt is a good, grippy front tire for my loose, sandy soil. Tubeless setub was a breeze. The tire compound is quite soft, but so far it has been durable even on pavement.
Mr Borshteingreat tire! relatively light and tough, perfect for loose summer ground
jay@42ersmtb.comTried and tested for the desert trail conditions of the UAE mountains. The Maxxis Minon DHRII corners very well and the side walls are reinforced making it more resistant to cuts on these rocky conditions. Since I got this on my Canyon Strive 2 years ago, this would be my first replacement for the same tire. Usually a weekend enduro rider (with the exception of holidays, etc.). A reliable tire for dry loose and technical terrain.
Sagiv HeziMaxxis Minion DHRII Kev 3C Exo TR. Perfect tire for rear wheel, works well in every conditions. highly recommend for enduro / downhill
Mr WatsonThe 2.3 is a great loose/wet tyre for the north island NZ. Rolls alright for a grippy tyre and the 2.4 version works well as both a front and a rear. Tubeless set up is literally a five minute job. Maxxis have this down to an art. Have ridden Schwalbe, WTB, Bontrager equivalents and this comes out on top.
Mr CarrSo light for such a big tyre. Great price too.
