Mr Dohertyvery well made and good looking skewers. Slightly longer that the original skewers but better that than to short. The hubs roll nicely on these, well worth the extra few bob.
Mr MossThe skewers are a little heavy but there are superbly made. The axles are a little thicker than most other aftermarket models which I've found helps keep the wheel rims exactly centred between the brake pads. My only criticism is that the colour of the photos on the website of the orange skewers makes them appear gold. They are much more orange in real life.

JesseThese are top notch Qrs, as good as Shimano & Campy, but better looking in colors especially with Hope or Chris King hubs. Merlin Cycles is amazing, super fast shipping to the USA, many of the high end parts they carry can be hard to find in the states, and the pricing is fantastic in almost every case...Merlin will be on the top of my list for great parts in the future.
ChaankGood construction and they match my wheels. Both sides are metal unlike a lot of QR skewers which use a plastic nut with a metal insert. It also seems like the contact surfaces are brass to resist slippage, so that's nice.

Dr GrimzThese are relatively hefty items but work almost as well as Shimano quick release skewers. The fit and finish is second to none as you would expect from Hope. Overall very happy, but they'd be even more awesome if they went on a little diet.
Mr DukeWhat can one say ... they work! This is the main point of skewers and having had several lighter external Ti cantilever style skewers fail to hold the rear wheel in position (admittedly, I am a heavier rider) it was a relief to find some skewers that do what they are supposed to do. A little bit of extra weight maybe, as well as the cost -- but, what's peace of mind worth? They also look great and are comfortable on the hand (and they don't have to be crazy tight). It's either this or Shimano/Campag -- take your choice.

For me there is only one slight issue where the longer rear wheel skewer could be 3mm -to- 5mm longer, as it is too short but still useable on my Specialised Epic 2011. Regards N Morris
