StuartSolid tyres. Good grip. Superb puncture resistance. A real pain in the thumbs to put on! If you're purchasing for a road bike, make sure there's room for 700x28s - not just in width but also in clearance - turns out the 700x25s are much smaller - 3mm is huge.

HarvBrilliant tyre. I use these on my Single Speed winter bike. On the Charge Plug I have I can fit 28mm version of these and still run mudguards without any rubbing. They are bomb proof tyres on very bad roads from time to time. They still roll pretty well considering the tread and the weight. The best thing to say on these though is they clocked 4200 miles on the rear of the bike in mostly winter miles and never once got a puncture. Then 2 hours after I finished a 95 mile ride the inner tube had gone flat. On inspection there was now a hole through to the blue puncture layer and the tread was well worn. That was enough and the tyres have served me well there. So have now swapped them out for a new pair.
RichardThese tyres won't suit everybody. The rolling resistance isn't the best, and they're relatively difficult to get on and off the rims. However, they are durable and as near as you'll get to puncture proof. So if these are the attributes that matter to you, the Marathon Plus can't be beaten.

Phil The HillGreat tyres for grip and puncture proof on slippery roads. Very difficult to install on wheels need strong thin type levers. I did find by putting the tyre in the airing cupboard for 24 hour before installing it on the wheel did help quite a lot.
