Code: TLFC32
TLFC32 tools to fit the Shimano Hollowtech 2 bottom bracket cups.
  • Designed specifically for the removal and installation of Hollowtech 2 bottom brackets .
Mr WelchPerfect for both types of Shimano bottom bracket as it comes with an adapter. Perfect.
Mr RiordanNeeded a spanner to fit disc rotor locknuts and this did it perfectly.
Mr WillisUseful for centre lock rotors too
Mr SmithIt works with the TL-FC25 adapter on my bottom bracket
RichardGood, no nonsense tool. Does the job, in my case, to tighten the lock ring on my disc brake rotors. Best price and great service from Merlin.
AdrianA great and lower priced alternatives to standard hollow tech tools. Good quality materials, good balance in the hand and easy to use.
GaryVery easy to use - fit the SRAM GXP bottom bracket perfectly and made fitting it very easy.
banebrownNice tool. Works well. arrived in a reasonable time frame. Performed even better than the industry standard tool that cost twice as much.
PopeDid it's job, took off the old set of bearings and installed the new ones. Classic sneaky Shimano move with the part specific tools that won't fit any thing else. Merlin did a good job on price and delivery though.
Mr WangGreat spanner, works with the BBR-60 plastic adapter.
Mr nickersonWorks just as it's supposed to, fits the bottom bracket snug with no slippage while changing the bottom bracket
Mr BrownDid the job, although care was needed as it was prone to slipping.
ChrisDid the job perfectly. Fits the splines on the BB snugly and easy to apply the desired force.
NC - USA CyclistGot the job done. Simple tool. Does what it is made to do.
GavinCan't fault and will probably never break it!
Mr JohnstonAt first I wanted a "bit" which I could use with my torque wrench to ensure I attached the BB at the correct torque. However this spanner works perfectly and is much cheaper than buying a bit. You more or less just need to tighten as hard as you can when it comes to bottom brackets.
spencerI bought this at the same time as I bought a new bottom bracket. I was a bit worried that it might slip off of the bracket when trying to loosen it. I needn't have worried because it grips the bracket when pushed on and there's no way its gonna slip off. Great tool for the price
Mr porsboWorks Well, a bit sharp to the hand when tightening to 40 Nm. Wrapped an old tube arround it as a handle.
Mr MatthewsWorks well although a slightly offset handle would make it easier to use. Chosen following prompt advice from Merlin. Usual fast delivery.
Mr BatesGood solid spanner does the job
Mr ShannonThis spanner fits well and like all Shimano tool steel is tough. However it lacks a little meat for very tight B/B cups.
Mr TemplemanQuality tool, great price and service as usual.
Mr NielsenThis tool sometimes slips, when you start to put pressure on it.
Mr HansonNice size, easily fits in the palm of your hand. makes the job of removing the Bottom Backet a helluva lot easier.
Mr MacGregorWhat can you say about a spanner who's sole purpose in life is to undo one specific piece of kit? Used it - it worked. Would be nice if it came with a star drive attachment so you can do up the plastic retainer on your crank arm but hey you can't have everything.
Mr brownfits the bracket well & makes the job easy, without taking a chunk out of you or your bike
Mr RoperDoes the job as it should. Make sure you grease the threads on BB cups to reduce friction.
Mr ProudFits perfectly and ideal piece of kit for the home mechanic.
