JeysenMoved from 2x to 1x on my trek superfly and bought this cassette. Ratios are better spaced than Shimano equivalent and gear changes are great. Using slx derailleur and shifter narrow wide chainring. Would recommend!

MemduhGreat alternative to Shimano or Sram cassettes, I have replaced my 11-36 Sram PG11-30 with this 11-40 SunRace MX8 cassette, I couldn`t be more happy, shifting is great, the cassette is around 40g lighter than the Sram cassette that it replaced and it was reasonably priced compared to Sram cassettes. I have ridden in very muddy conditions and still performed very well, one thing I must mention though if you back pedal on the 40t cog chain shifts down, I think this occurs on most of the wide range cassettes due to chain line, for me it`s not a deal breaker. I can`t comment on durability just yet as I have only done few rides. Overall I`m very happy with this product and I would recommend specially when it`s on offer.
