Miss SpeightI have had this pannier for years, and have bought another for a different bike. I have been touring around Asia with it for 6 months, and it has stood up to a lot of battering and being loaded to its limit. I can certainly recommend.
PatrickAnother solid and dependable rack
Mr WhiteAbsolute bargain, flat steel straps took a bit of aligning but all worked fine
Mr DavidsonThis item is just what I needed. I wanted a rack that could fit my child's hamax bike seat on it. The service form Merlin cycles was great. Product arrived in good time with no issues.
Mr staceyDecent value for the price. Fitted to an E bike. The seat stay were not long enough, about 10 inch needs 12inch. But fitted on the first holes on the rack and then I fitted an alloy plate under the rack to strengthen the two bolts used. I also re -drilled the drop out holes to lower the rack half an inch or so. Its made a nice job and looks good on the bike . Merlins delivery procedure was also good
Ms DukeA good basic rack that should work fine for most needs. Check youtube videos for fitting advice as it may seem like it won't fit on some bikes but does!
RichardGood quality and sturdy Aluminium rack. Very good price.
Mr BInexpensive for sure. Fitting involves attaching two long flat stainless steel strips from the rack to your seat post - these may need bending to fit, which is not the most elegant solution. Wouldn't fit my wife's ladies XS Giant Roam 2 as these strips were not long enough - have found some alternative longer strips which should do the job. Should be good enough for the short trip we have planned, but I would probably upgrade to something sturdier for longer expeditions.
Mr T BattlegroundBit of a fiddle to attach but is sturdy and light
Mr BrownSeems sturdy, fairly adjustable and easy to fit. Not the lightest rack you can buy, but given you won't be racing with a rack on the extra weight is acceptable. Bought for commuting / shopping rather than long distance touring. For long distance, would probably look for something a bit lighter.
GaryGreat product and superb service
Mr MekinsUsed these racks for many years without problem both for off road mountain biking and carrying my pannier bags whilst touring.
