This is my third set of rubino pros. They seem to have better puncture resistance than my old Conti GP4000s but they also have higher rolling resistance.
Great value training tyre.
These are my second set of Rubino Pro Techs. 5500 km on the rear of the last set. Not a single flat.
I've gone down the route of cheap tyres to have finally got into my thick skull that it's a false economy. So it's these for the commute and Conti GP4000s for the race/sportive season.
"For too many years ! I have heard people say Gator tyres are the best winter/training tyre ! ...I think it's because these people have never tried these !!!! Vittoria are far superior to Contis' ...grip ! ...protection ! ...longevity ! ...comfort ! ...COST !!!
NB ! Like most Vittorias these also cut quite easy ! But !!!! So far I've pulled: flints, thorns, shards of glass and most debris from the cuts and all but huge tyre killers have failed to penetrate the entire carcass so avoiding the dreaded "P" !!!
Only point needed making is these pro tech tyres come up slightly narrower than there normal or any other Vittoria equivalent size ...so if you want a 23 size up to 25 !"
