3T Discus C35 LTD Stealth Carbon Clincher Disc Road Wheelset
3T Discus C35 LTD Stealth Carbon Clincher Disc Road Wheelset.
The Discus C35 Ltd is the premium wheelset from the 3T Discus range. 25mm wide all-carbon-fiber rims and build refinements yield all-up weight of just 1350g. Center Lock disc-brake hubs with 24 spokes front and rear offer industry-standard fitment for quality disc-brake setups.
Ceramic Speed bearings are standard in these wheels. 3T linear+ system optimizes build quality. Asymmetric rim drilling reduces difference in spoke tension between drive side and non-drive side. Hubs have light-alloy oversize spindle with modular end-caps that can be easily swapped from quick-release to thru-axle as needed
Carbon-fiber rim is 32mm deep, with a blunt profile for stable aerodynamic performance at typical angles to the wind; wide tyre bed provides a really firm base to run the latest, race-weight fat tyres at lower pressure.

GeorgeH First of all the delivery to Germany was very fast, since the moment of order I got the wheels in three days. They came packed neatly, all the accessories included. The quality of the wheels speaks for itself just when unboxing the box. The CS bearings run super smooth and the overall wheelset weighs 1440gr (12mm thru axle configuration with end cap adapters). I have been able to test ride the wheels on one ride and compared to my Aksiums they are extremely smooth and stiff (no more disc rub when out of the saddle). Just to give you an idea, some Strava uphill segments (e.g. 3.5km at 6%) I have been doing for the last few years have seen on this first ride new PRs, so the lower wheel weight+smoothness of the CS bearings+stiffness all account for setting new boundaries in terms of performance. Couldn't be more happier. Now I have to wait and see how they behave with time, especially with respect to trueness. As an additional note, the wheels are shod with Maxis ultralight tubes and Pirelli PZero 28mm tyres.
Prof Nilsson High quality wheels indeed, but not compatible with all tyres according my experience. The Schwalbe Pro One was impossible to mount perfectly round, however, Conti GP 4000s II works fine. Easy to switch between different axles.
