Brian I purchased this jacket for an upcoming cycling and service project trip with the Fuller Center for Housing this April. I have not ridden in the rain with it yet but I can say that it is of excellent quality and looks to be very waterproof. The fit is excellent for me, snug fitting for cycling but not too tight. If you like something loose fitting, I recommend ordering one size up from your normal size. Although I don't usually ride in the rain, if we get caught out in the rain during the long days of riding I look forward to staying dry with this jacket. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating for now is because I haven't tested the waterproof feature yet. I like everything else about this jacket.
