Sizing Information for Altura Clothing:
I needed a waterproof jacket that packed up small for my LeJoG trip. This fit the requirements perfectly I have used it as much as a wind breaker as for rain.
I love this jacket it is so light and has kept me dry so far
Used in the north last week and very good. Packs down small enough for in jersey storage but keeps out the wet and wind whilst not getting to sweaty. Very good indeed, though managed to lose the stuff sack on day 1 !!
Nice piece of rainwear, quite small and light (137.1g for Large, weighted). Large size fits me well (183cm). The only dowside is that the jacket is a bit short on the rear, otherwise it would be perfect (hence 4 stars only).
Original ones we had were stolen from my car so these were replacements. Have used them for a few years and are a super light waterproof with minimal condensation. No hesitation in getting another two.
Excellent jacket --"does exactly what it says on the tin"
One minor flaw, elastic at waist could be stronger to prevent tail-wind blowing jacket up your back
Lightweight, keeps me dry on regular commute. Packs easily into a jersey pocket and is a good fit.
Not the best for breathability but ok at this price range.
Waterproof, windproof and breathable. Good, tight fit.
This jacket is seriously lightweight. It packs down really small (about the size of a fist) into the stretched fabric stuff sack provided. The medium is a good fit on me and I'm quite slim so if you're between sizes, round up. The front is quite high which isn't a problem on the bike but I guess that'll depend how long your torso is! I've not had it on in any downpours yet so can't testify to it's waterproofing. I bought it to replace my similar Altura jacket which was great but started leaking after 6 years so I'm hoping this one will be just as good and last just as long. Only downside is the price.
