Top pocket is really useful. Good quality. Hoops to clip on a strap helpful.
Received in a timely manner, at a great price. Appears to be well made and fit on the rack . So far, so good!
Extremely good value. Easy to use and appear to be hard wearing. Currently used for commuting and shopping. Not waterproof, but a dry bag liner solves this. At this price, definitely recommended.
Brilliant panniers, great service, delighted
Good bargain panniers. Locking mechanism is on the basic end, best for short trips or commuting, and not offroad...
Great set of panniers. I use 1 for commuting and it is easily large enough for lunch, change of clothes, bike repair kit and a bit of shopping. Easy to take on and off the bike yet feels secure. The design is well thought out and the product feels well made. Good value for money, would definitely reccomend.
Panniers are great. They are available in all the shops but the price at Merlin was the best by miles. Delivered quickly and without any fuss. Great stuff.
Good size bags for short tours
Inexpensive yet seem to be well made. Not sure I'd take them on a cross country tour, but perfect for commuting and grocery duty. Have been water resistant so far.
I think these panniers are excellent value. I don't expect them to be as waterproof as more expensive models, and they're not huge, but they are well made and the ergonomics are good: the "lid" part fits snugly and I like the position of the top pocket. For shopping, commuting or lightweight touring they're ideal. The instructions say they're not suitable for off-road use, probably because the mounting system is at the budget end of the Rixen + Kaul range. The two support hooks are fine, but the central clip that stops the panniers from jumping off is a bit basic, and on a bumpy road I reckon it might come loose. With my last pair of panniers I found out the hard way what can happen when they aren't held down properly, so with these I'm going to be careful, and maybe use cable ties on bumpy roads.
Good price, and more balanced than a single bag. Very convenient.
