Argon 18 E-80 TT / Tri Aluminium Frameset
The E-80 will give you everything you expect from a triathlon or a time trial bike so that you can push yourself further. The bike’s triple-butted Thermo-Tech aluminum frame ensures that every ounce of power is transferred to the pavement. Its aerodynamic carbon fork provides a smooth ride and reduces the bike’s overall weight. You’ll fall in love with how light the E-80 really is and how easy it is to find the ideal riding position.

Geometry Information

The frame was packaged extremely well, all parts properly covered with foam, meaning there was no defects or damage. The frame itself is very aero and lightweight which is exceptional considering the great value price. The reversible seat post allows for a more traditional position which worked well for me as I'm using this as a road/TT bike. I have seen others using this frame set as a track frame by others since it has horizontal dropouts with adjuster screws, which shows how versatile it is. Internal cable routing is fairly easy. The satin black paint job looks amazing and is easy to match with other components. Overall brilliant product. Definitely a new fan of the Argon 18 brand.
If you're searching for a race ready TT or triathlon bike, and you don`t want to spend a fortune, grab this frame and build a bike that will be easy to setup, and extremely good in handling. Of course as an aluminium frame you will feel the vibrant nature of it, but for the TT purpose that this frame was built, there is no additional concerns. My proposal: grab it now you won`t find either the price or the frame itself (as its discontinued)
Really impressed with this frame. It feels stiff and responsive. I built it up with Ultegra Di2, 3T TT bars and stem, Fabric TT saddle and a Quark crankset. I am still running Fulcrum LG Quattro wheels so probably not unlocking all of its potential! I have done a couple of training rides and one race so far. The race weather conditions were poor, but the bike was stable and confidence inspiring whilst still feeling reactive to power delivery. At the discounted price I got it for - a real bargain.
Bought to replace a broken carbon TT frame, it is supplied with an instruction sheet and is easy to build up although you do have to fish for the brake and gear outer casings as you thread them down to the bottom bracket. The direct mount back brake under the BB works a lot better than standard back brakes. The E80 aluminium frame is about 200gm heavier than the carbon frame it replaced but handles well and I assume is pretty aero as my first '25' on it was a few seconds faster than my best time on the old carbon frame.
