This is my third pair and I think they are great. Sure, there is a limit to their 'waterproofness' and they tend to be a little wide at the ankle for me (as do most others). However, these keep the feet warm and shoes clean.
Seem good so far; use for commuting, around a 30 minute ride. I wear chunky "trainer" style spd shoes in a size 39, and I bought the size 41-42 overshoe, which fits over them, if a little bit on the big side. They shed water, but have been damp inside when rain has been really heavy, as have the shoes - but not anything like as wet as they'd have been without the covers. Easy to put on, well made, stretchy, and they dry quickly.
These are not brilliant, but not bad either. They are well made and easy to take on and off (remember to put them on first, then the shoe, then pull them down over the shoe). They are quite thin, so durability may be a factor over time and as I have only had mine a month, I cannot comment on this. I do commute in them every day, however, and they have been pretty good at keeping my feet dry. In heavy rain, my feet have got wet as water simply runs down my legs, through the tops of the shoe covers and down into my shoes, but then I have never found a "magic" shoe cover that could keep my feet dry in these conditions. If you are using these shoe covers in wet conditions, rest assured that your feet will stay a lot drier than if you weren't wearing them.
One thing to point out - the sizing is way off. I use size 47 Specialized shoes and the BBB 47s were massive - I ended up re-ordering 45-46, so you may also need to size down to get a snug "water-tight" fit.
