Here at Merlin Cycles we have a fair amount of warehouse space and it takes a whole bunch of staff to keep it sorted so the new deliveries can find a home and customer orders can get swiftly picked and despatched.

How long have you been at Merlin Cycles?

Five years.

What bikes do you own?

Prototype 853 steel mountain bike, WeThePeople BMX, Merlin Single Malt custom fixie (this is an old post and the linked content no longer exists), a super trick 631 Tack fixie with Dura Ace and other goodies. And a KTM 950 SMR.

What bike do you ride most?

Probably the fixies. Just fast and the most fun to ride.

How long have you been cycling?

20+ years on and off.

What was your first proper bike?

A red Raleigh Burner BMX.

Do you ride road, MTB or cyclocross?

Fixed, no brakes. Mainly.

What are your favourite cycling components?

Shimano Dura Ace Track group – pure bicycle porn!

Who are your cycling heroes?

Robert Forstemann.

Do you have any interests outside of cycling?

Does motorcycling count? Power body building and powerlifting.

Are you a fervent user of Social Media?

Instagram only. It’s the future.

Why do you ride?

Keep fit and healthy, stay lean. It’s good cardio. For the sheer hell of it.
