Gonna be Intense…<\/h2>\n

Merlin are proud to supply a brand which has been at the forefront of the MTB world for over twenty years. Intense have been a cornerstone of the Californian scene since the early 1990\u2019s. The west coast US state gave birth to several key, iconic brands which would transform Mountain Biking. Intense’s ever evolving, highly developed bikes have won legions of fans all around the world.<\/p>\n

Intense build their bikes in Temecula, California. Founder, Jeff Steber was originally involved in the Windsurfing industry, before taking to the MTB world in the early 1990\u2019s. Since then, Intense have gone from strength to strength in the constantly evolving world wide MTB market.<\/p>\n

Intense Icons<\/h2>\n

Over twenty years ago, the Intense M1 was one of the first truly iconic downhill bikes. Intense had set the bar high for other manufacturers and provided THE bike of many aspiring rider\u2019s gravity-assisted dreams. Today, they have a stellar list of riders on their books, including Brian Lopes and Shaun Palmer. Palmer propelled the M1 bike into the world spotlight in the mid 1990’s. Lopes and Palmer were, and still are, influential and formidable talents in mountain biking. The duo’s years of experience have been channelled into fine-tuning bikes, through their ongoing R & D input. The pair highlight the company’s committment to making supremely high quality, fully ‘dialled in’ machines.<\/p>\n

Intense Tracer and Spider<\/h2>\n

The 2016 Bikes<\/a> are available from \u00a31999 for the Tracer 275A Foundation Build Enduro bike. The carbon version Tracer 275C Foundation Build is \u00a32999.<\/p>\n

2016 Tracer 275A<\/a> (Aluminium) Foundation Build Enduro bike was named Interbike\u2019s Mountain bike of the year in 2015. The 27.5 inch wheels and lightweight build is at home hammering demanding descents, without sacrificing climbing ability to get back up to the top. A true master of it\u2019s domain, the Tracer 275A boasts bucket-loads of fun and stunning looks at an appealing price point. At the Core of the entry level Tracer is an Aluminium frame with 140 \u2013 160mm of plush travel and a mixture of Shimano Deore and SLX components.<\/p>\n

The 2017 Spider <\/a>carbon framed bikes are available from \u00a34099.99 for the foundation build and \u00a35699.99 for the Pro Build. The 2017 Spider 275C Pro bike features high quality throughout. The Carbon 130mm travel frame is complimented with Fox Performance Elite 34 FLOAT forks. Sram supply their finest components to complete the premium quality pro build bike. The carbon frame combines the lightweight, rigid properties of carbon and agile enduro ready geometry, to create a fast and fun machine.<\/p>\n
