Here&#8217;s a quick update on what they have been up to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bex Rimmington kicked of her tri season with a win in the Splashland Triathlon in Southport. Battling chilly temperatures, Bex won the female athletes race and placed 6th overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Southport1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26734 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Southport1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Southport1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Southport1.jpg 1080w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1024px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 1024\/683;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bex continued her winning ways at the Horwich Triathlon. A very strong swim set Bex up the win in the event known as the &#8216;Kona of the North&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as her swim\/bike\/run exploits, Bex has also been winning time trials in the North West including the Kent Valley Road Club Hilly and the North Lancashire RC 10 mile time trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debbie Moss has also been in dominent form in the North West TT scene. Debbie&#8217;s winning time in the Manchester &amp; District TTA 25 mile TT, put her over five minutes ahead of the competition with 1.00.40. in tough conditions in Cheshire.
