From the initial overshoes, Spatzwear have developed variations to cover all types of riding, including overshoes featuring flouro highlights for extra visibility (Legalz Glo) and  heavy-duty Gravel targeted (GRAVLR) ones.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/spatz-basez-2-base-layer-269497.html\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"470\" height=\"470\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/114076_spatz_basez_2_base_layer.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-36468 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 470px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 470\/470;\" \/><\/a><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.merlincycles.com\/spatz-basez-2-base-layer-269497.html\">Basex 2 Base Layer<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expanded Range<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Five years on and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spatzwear.com\/en-au\">Spatzwear<\/a> produce over 40 products and supply some of the biggest names in cycling, including Mattieu van der Poel and the Alpecin &#8211; Fenix Team. Spatzwear Windsock2 featured in all the Grand Tour Time Trials in the 2022 season. It&#8217;s not all footwear though. The Basez 2 base layer was voted &#8216;Best in Test&#8217; by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/extras\/indybest\/outdoor-activity\/cycling\/best-mens-cycling-base-layer-merino-b1721046.html\">Independent<\/a> newspaper and can often be seen under professional riders team kit. It shows that they are buying our kit out of choice because they need the best kit in order to perform at their best, regardless of cost or brand. They are using our kit for the exact reasons and in the exact situations we designed it for. If you look carefully at the winners of Belgian classics in the spring is it common to spot our Burnr gilet or base layers nestled underneath the speed suits of the winners, despite them being sponsored by other brands.
