Reverse Components Base Pedals<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In January, I was lucky enough to get to go and sample some of Reverse\u2019s Base pedals. I was initially impressed by their option of being able to switch pins depending on your preference. Adjustability is a key factor in selecting the right pair of pedals for you as everyone has their own individual preferences. Having ridden clips prior to trying these pedals, I was surprised by their relative similarity in grip to my Crankbrothers Mallet E’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gusset are well known as a brand for their finishing components. Every pedal requires servicing now and again which is why Gusset have included a double bush axle system easily accessible for bearing replacement. It\u2019s safe to say the S2 Alloy pedals are a reliable option when choosing your next set of budget-friendly pedals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crank Brothers Stamp 2 Flat Pedals<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Crankbrothers are often credited on the success of their higher end products, such as their Stamp 7s or their Mallet E\u2019s. But how do their cheaper Stamp 2s compare and are they still a strong option? Similar to Reverse\u2019s Base Pedals, The Stamp 2s feature adjustable pins meaning you\u2019re covered when it comes to getting the pedals tailored to your riding. Crankbrothers have also maintained the thin profile and shape of their higher end pedals with this budget friendly pair.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DMR V12 Magnesium Flat Pedals<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As the lightest pedals out of this list, the DMR V12 Magnesium pedals are a real standout in terms of their qualities. Designed and refined with previous models in mind, DMR have struck a great balance between performance, appearance and cost with these pedals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
