General information about our shipping
I am very pleased with this trailer. It is far superior to my previous trailer which was far less sturdy. It has a number of simple but very neat features that combine to make the trailer all the more useable and practical. It is higher, internally than a number of models, so it can be used until your child/children get slightly older so more for your money. The frame appears to be well constructed and very robust. The straps, back rest and seat cushion increase the comfort for my child and there are a few storage pockets for a childs toys, drinks, snacks, sun cream etc on the inside of the trailer. The rear storage area of the trailer is fairly large and can easily accommodate a couple of small rucksacks, bike locks, spare drinks and snacks etc. Since buying the trailer, I have ridden about 150 miles with it attached to the back of one of my road bikes, over a 4 day trip to France to see the early stages of the Tour De France this year. It is obviously tough when going into the wind or up hills but this is good for building leg power. The bike still handles well with the trailer on the back and my son seems happy when he is in the trailer, even on some of the longer rides. I do a lot of cycling, predominantly road and this gives me a great way of getting some extra miles in, whilst looking after my son!! I believe that they are safer than the bike mounted seats, the bike handles better and if the bike goes from under you, the child doesnt go with it. Their head is a lot better protected by the frame and roll bar and they have the added bonus of being able to have small snacks, drinks, toys etc to hand whilst you are cycling. In addition to the above, it packs away quickly & neatly with everything packing into the folded frame. All in all I am very pleased with the investment.
