Campagnolo Bora One 50 Dark Carbon Tubular Wheelset
The legendary Bora is not just for the pros. The wheelset features a high profile rim, capable of winning sprint finishes from Andre Greipel or powering uphill with Valverde. A new width that ensures comfort, stiffness, reactivity and cutting-edge aerodynamic performance, 3Diamant finish on the braking track for powerful, modular braking, exclusive G3 spokes combined with external nipples for always effcient maintenance.
The USB ceramic bearings offer the Bora One 50 a smooth effertless ride that is superior to traditional bearing systems. All this makes it the ideal choice for competitive cyclists at any level.

Paul Sheldon Game changing wheelset and value for money at £999 inc next day free delivery from Merlin. Fitted Conti tubulars. I've ridden these Bora One 50s now for about 4 weeks on sunny warm days, wet cold days and on many muddy country roads. These are superb wheels for the £. With only a small weight gain of 50g for the pair of Bora One 50s (at hub) over the Ultra set but a whopping saving of £750 (Bright versions) over the Ultra! It's a no brainier! Big improvement over my previous 50mm carbon clinchers with a weight saving for the pair of 501g which is huge mainly at the rim and much improved braking too. They are lively, extremely responsive into corners and climbing, barely any wind steer on open ground in various yaw directions of wind. They really are fun. Pleasantly surprised how well they perform in cross winds with only minimal wind steer which I noticed on high open roads at bike speeds of about 50kph and 40kph gust side wind. Braking is superb on descents and wet. They really do brake like alloy rims and I've not noticed any brake fade as yet. I'm 73kg and no brake rub whatsoever out of saddle on 20%+climbs. Well done Campy and thanks to Merlin for a super price! I can't see how I can ever go back to clinchers.
