Cycle speed Tours MajorcaReally please with these - very smooth rolling, plenty stiff enough and light. IMO superior to Zipp and Enve. I also ride Lightweight Meilensteins and Corima MCC 47 S+
TThese are my first carbon tubular deep-rim wheels. I am neither a super advanced nor experienced rider but already start to see a good increase in speed.
Al OlbyAmazing wheels, make me want to sprint up every hill. Very light, and so far I haven't felt too blown around by the wind with them. In fact I find I get blown about worse with an old pair of shallow Ksyriums because their blade spokes are much wider..
Braking Is excellent in the dry, haven't tried them in the wet yet. I live in the Alps and find myself waiting till the last moment to brake for hairpins, coming down from 80 kmh to 35 or so very quickly. Confidence inspiring. I love the wider rim profile, and I've run both 25mm and 23mm tubs on them. Both work great.
My only very slight niggle with Campag wheels is that both pairs I have (Shamal and Bora) came with one hub bearing over-tightened. Given how much Campag make of their smooth running bearings this surprised me. Still, they're very easy to loosen off.
R LeeThis set of wheel is fast, extremely smooth, and light. In fact the ceramic bearing is so smooth that I easily finish my first 200+km race without much fatigue. I'm most impressed by their new designed braking surface, half of the time of my race was in a downpour and this set of wheel didn't disappoint me as braking is still sharp and responsive. Braking in the dry condition feels even more aluminum rim like, in fact braking with bora wheels gives me even greater confidence then other alu or carbon wheels I have rode. Needless to say, Merlin offers the best price you can find in the web to own such an amazing set of wheel.
csdosThese wheels are FAST. Extremely responsive, stiff and comfortable. Amazing uphill and downhill. The best wheels I have owned to date.
BobNo better wheelset available. I have never ridden a better wheel
