Stuart Only had the wheels out for 2 rides so far but they’re much nicer to ride on than the $1000 broken wheels they are replacing. I was just wanting an interim cheap set until I upgraded my bike but highly recommend.
Mr Santos Works fine for the price! Have a nice look.
Richard I like these wheels, wasn't sure about the look of the rear wheel but then again, I'm not looking at it when I'm cycling. The first thing that struck me was the almost silent freewheel when I unboxed them and spun the wheel, out on the road they feel solid and seem to roll really smoothly for an entry level wheel, having renewed the whole drivetrain at the same time, maybe it's a combination of that and the wheels, but as an experienced cyclist with more than one bike, I cannot fault these up to now. They feel far better than they have a right to at their price and the difference between them and the Mavic Aksiums that they replace is night and day.
Mr Logan Thought these would feel noticeably sluggish replacing some old but light tubular wheels I'd demoted to training but smooth, stiff and plush with the 28mm Schwalbe Duranos I'd bought too. Never, ever had to true or repair any of my Campag wheels in the past and these look really well made too.
Mr Friese I wanted this set for a long bike tour and to have the ability to easily find replacement spokes if something happens while on the tour. Coupled with Scwalbe Marathon Plus 700 x 28, they seem very sturdy and very reliable so far.
