Very good groupset, great quality and super ergonomical.
Great price and fast delivery to the US. Products exactly as described. 4 stars due to the single click up shift of the Potenza vs. the traditional Campagnolo ratchet click.... 5 stars to Merlin!
As an upgrade from my 10 speed Veloce groupset this has been great! Crisp, light shifting and good braking performance are the two noticable improvements with Potenza over Veloce. The ergonomics of the shifters are super comfortable as well.
Upgraded from 10 speed Centaur to 11-32 Potenza. First outing was 84 mile ride with variety of terrain. Definite improvement for climbing and descending, with nice smooth shifting. Fast delivery and competitive price.
The Potenza group is simply the best budget Campag group you can buy. Ergonomics are fantastic, and performance exceeded my expectations (coming off of an Athena gruppo as well as 105 5800)
Good looking group. Shifting is quick and accurate. New ergo lever design is very comfortable. Typical Campy quality. Outstanding. Five stars.
Solid performance from Campagnolo, at an affordable price. What more can you ask for?
I live in the San Francisco bay area in California. For those who have not been here it is very hilly and with a few mountains. Loads of climbing. I am a Campagnolo man for sure. I have been looking to replace my aging Record 10 speed group a little while. As most of you know Campy tends to be a significantly bigger investment than other brands. If you don`t know why, here is a brief summary of why. It is Campagnolo. No other brand carries the the prestige, rich history and success on the podium. Every group designed and manufactured in Vincenza, Italy is of high quality and totally rebuildable. At every tier of product lines,Shimano and Sram are use it and throw away. Campagnolo has a part number for every single part that makes all components. Thereby allowing a continuous relationship with you and the bike. They do not produce low end components. The lower price options are the same design as the top end with materials used to fabricate being the main difference. Plus they make a bike so damn sexy. If you have not had the Campy experience, I highly recommend a long test ride. The difference is clear. Anyway I am 45 years old not as fast or as thin as my racing days but still average two hundred miles a week and participate in a couple centuries per season. Imperial century not metric. I was drawn to the new Potenza for its wide gear range. The widest in the brands history. As I mentioned at my age and few flat roads where I live the 11/32 option was appealing. And the price as well. Potenza is meant to compete with Ultegra. I have ridden both now and I gotta say Potenza is well worth the slightly higher price. I love it and I didn't need a second mortgage on my home to buy it. Hahah! It absolutely delivers when it comes Campagnolo performance and style. Also I love Merlin Cycles, the third time I have bought from them. The prices are better than here in the states and the shipping is so fast you would think that they were in the states. Excellent job Merlin. You continue to win my business. Bottom line Campagnolo continues to make the best performaning and sexiest road bicycle components and uphold Tulio's rich legacy. Merlin cycles is a top notch company to do business with Brent San Francisco CA
