Made a switch from DA 9000 Di2 to EPS recently after getting a new DeRosa frame. This is what I thought. Install & Setup: Di2 is simpler to install and you can get the desired cable length suit your frame size and if you do break a cable just get a cable replacement whereas with EPS you can't as cables are attached to the battery and DTI unit directly. Setting up are equal for both, each has its advantages and disadvantages. MyCampy App for iPhone works great and probably has more features than etube. Shift performance: both are just as good, smooth and accurate. Campy FD takes more time to setup properly but it does work just as good as Di2. Aesthetic & Build Quality: Campy do look the part especially on Italian frames and the carbon components just standout. Campy build quality wins again on fine details and the crankset looks like a Picasso painting. Other wow factor: campy Ultra torque BB cups are easy to setup and bearing directly attached to the crank spindle is a great idea. For Shimano you need to purchase BB with bearings separately and if you add the choice of ceramic bearing BB cost goes up higher than Campy Record crankset which comes included with USB ceramic bearings. The idea of strapping a magnet around your seat post to turn off your EPS is a great idea especially during transport of your bike. Downside: For both shimano and Campy, installing the shifter is a pain where access to tightening the nut is crazily narrow. Campy does not have option to add a climber switch like shimano. If you are after simplicity and reliable electronic drivetrain pick Shimano but if bling factor is also important go campy like me
