Campagnolo Scirocco C17 Clincher Road Wheelset, option with Continental GP4000S II Tyres
The Scirocco C17 features the new wider profile rim design, giving better profile to the tyre, maximising Grip, comfort and aerodynamic benefits. The 35mm deep alloy rim which gives the perfect balance of aero performance & lightweight, making this a perfect wheelset for any road conditions. All of this combined with Campagnolo’s unique G3 spoke pattern ensures you have one of the stiffest and lightest wheelsets available.
The Mega-G3 Spoke pattern is a type of spoke assembly that improves energy transfer between the hub, which reduces stress on the right-hand side which in turn increases the rigidity of the wheel. This is achieved by having twice as many spokes as the left-hand side.
- 35mm aerodynamic profile rim
- Welded rim increases stiffness and braking surface precision allowing smooth and progressive braking
- Dynamic Balance™ rims, where every point of the rim is counterbalanced by an equal weight on the opposite side, offering maximum stability even at high speeds
- Aluminium hub and aluminium axle for low weight and increased stiffness
- Oversized flange on the rear wheel increases torsional stiffness
- Aerodynamic spokes with exclusive Mega-G3™ spoke pattern, which creates the perfect spoke tension and stiffness on both sides of the wheel
- Internal rim nipple support tabs (as used in high-end carbon wheels) used to guarantee a longer life of the wheel by distributing tension more efficiently

NobuI use these wheels on my steel frame Cinelli Supercorsa. I had older set of Scirocco and loved them. They got old and scratched up after several years, so I decided to get another set. I love them for the cost, the look (35mm rim), and how they ride. They are quick and hold the speed pretty well. I know these are more entry-level wheels (as compared to something like Bora) but they serve me well for my use (mainly weekend rides). So far, no issue with spokes or anything. For the price, I think they are the best deal. I liked these better than Fulcrum wheels in a similar price.
JamesWheels seem to work just as I wanted. Using them on an older classic bike to help a bit with the higher speeds. They spin up well despite the added heft over my other Campagnolo wheels. No detectable flex when I got out of the saddle and sprinted. Weight was actually less then the classic wheels they replaced yet these are much deeper and wider. Felt more comfortable on the bike yet all seemed to be very efficient at transferring all my effort into momentum. Hubs are buttery smooth right out of the box. Initial impressions are that these wheels seem to be very high quality despite the discount price.
Mr Sinan ArslanIt's a fantastic product. I'm really glad I bought this product. I advise, don't think, take it.
Mr SousaFirst view was the second brand of Campagnolo, the Fulcrum Quattro, just because I don't like the stickers on the Scirocco, but I made the order the 1st day of the year and i bought this for 208 euros, the fulcrum was 30 more euros, so I don't look behind and bought the Scirocco. They are way better good looking in person, it transformed my bike , with a real weight of 1750 grams its a little heavy but when rolling on the flats and even in some short hills they roll great, on the flats are better than my Zondas, but that because they are 35mm, not Zondas but almost there, a little less weight, and it was been great. Hope Campagnolo in the future recondition this wheels like they do with the Fulcrums, these are just better. I bought it again for sure. Great set of wheels
RandonneurI have bought these a year before for my Campag groupset and have very pleased with their performance. They are not light but are very durable. I've recently used them on a 200k and 400k Brevet on rough roads on a rainy weekend and performed admirable and have stayed true despite running into bumps and potholes. This recent purchase was with a Shimano Spline for a Shimano groupset. Minor note - the decals on the rims have started to peel off on the edges. Although this is just cosmetic, a small lapse in quality can sometimes lead to bigger things hence the 4 stars instead of 5.
Mr ParkDid not have zonda's in stock so I went with Scirocco's. Not the best climber but these wheels are fast on flats, roll out well (great bearings), and have a great braking feel.
