Mr Haddad Amazing quality. I love the fabric. It fits perfectly.
Mr beall I freaking love this thing. I am muscular so I went with the XXL. Right on my chest and lots of room in the midsection. But that is just all clothes in my case. I’m 6’1” and weigh 225 lbs.
Patrick Great jacket. Went on first ride with it yesterday and it kept the cold at bay. I found the size chart accurate for me although I typically am an extra large in most Jerseys, I went with a 3xl with this jacket and it is a comfortable fit. I am 187cm tall , 94kg and chest size 112cm. If i was after a real tight fit the 2xl would have been the go.
Jeremy Amazing warm and waterproof jacket.
glenn Great jacket for cold rides in Chicago. Very warm, great material. Size XL as I am 5'-11 and 168 pounds. Can wear a nice base layer or turtleneck underneath. Merlins price of $152 is less than half of everyone else. Bought black color as well.
Mr Stock Just the thing for a cool Southern Hemisphere winter .....this jacket is full of tech, stylish and most of all Super Toasty
Mr Elphick Best winter jacket I have ever owned
Mr Gascon Escrihuela It is a very good quality jacket I am very happy, I would buy it again and I am recommending it to my friends.
alex Excellent. Normally I am m/l but bought xl. I don’t like the cold and generally wear a couple of tops and 1-2 base layers. I went with comments from other reviews and stripped back from normal attire for current weather. Worn on a couple of 30 mile rides with the cold north - north/ easterly winds of late. Worn with one base layer and found to be comfortably warm with minimal moister build up against the skin. Fit is superb with good length in body and arms, I am 5’8”. Highly recommended!
PetrasB Perfect for winter riding along the windy shore of Lake Michigan. Wind resistant and vents keeps one warm when stopping. Very pleased the cut of the jacket especially if need to layer for sub zero weather, but have not had to layer for 0 degree weather and 20-30 mph winds.
Mr Pérez Higuera Very warm. Only for freezing temps
Chris I bought the jacket on the basis of the Goretex Windstopper (now 'Infinium'!) membrane which I think offers an excellent balance of weather protection for highly active sports. I intend to use it for zone 2 rides on the coldest of UK days. I've only worn it once so far to try it out, on a dry day of about 4-6 celsius, on a zone 2/3 ride, with two merino mesh base layers. The jacket offers excellent windproofing and is lovely and warm - but too warm for zone 3 riding in those temperatures, and sweat does build up inside. As with Castelli's Gabba jacket, you stay warm despite being damp inside. I think the jacket will be great for the purpose I bought it for. The Alpha Ros, (albeit with its tighter race cut) is the jacket for zone 3/4 riding.
