This latest generation of Free Aero sees an updated Progetto X2 seat pad offering enhanced levels of comfort in the saddle as well as improved ergonomics in the bib strap and waist panel design.

Forza fabric on inner legs with 38% Lycra® content for perfect fit
Carré engineered lie-flat bib strap construction for minimal coverage, maximum comfort
Giro Air mesh-like leg gripper elastic for better grip distributed over larger area
Doppio V construction in front for increased support and comfort
Reflective detailing on back
Progetto X2 Air seat pad for even greater comfort
This is a very comfortable set of bibs. The chamois is excellent and the lycra hugs nicely and stays in place providing comfort for long rides, so you don't need to leave these for racing only. The straps are comfortable but take a bit of fiddling to get them to sit flat. I usually take a medium in other brands but had to go a size up to large which ended up being a perfect fit (I'm 176cm and 62kg).
Riding in desert conditions these bibs are light and cooling. There's no sticky feeling you normally get with some bibs. If the humidity is high and you're expecting to to sweat alot these are the bibs for you.
Really comfortable. Sized small. I had to go a size up from what I usually wear. If you are on the border according to the size chart, definitely go up.
These are the first 'decent' bib shorts I've ordered after owning plenty of more reasonable kits. I questioned whether it was worth spending extra, and if they are all much over much.....well I'm here to say these are awesome. I've done 4 decent rides and they are extremely comfortable in the seat, straps and leg support are great. These won't disappoint. Of course they look fantastic. Great value from Merlin on sale, and delivered promptly to Australia - thx! I'm 5ft 10, 180 pds (82 kgs) and the XL fits nice and firm - spot on for me. Very happy with this product. Highly recommended!!
First ride out in the new bib shorts this weekend and, as expected, the shorts were comfortable over this short (65km) recovery ride. The usual Castelli quality, great chamois, great fit and look too. I am 171 cm and weigh 69/70kg and the medium fit was perfect...
Comfortable and great on longer hotter rodes
Six weeks in to getting back on a road bike and I'm aiming for a century later this month in Atlanta. I wanted to step up to something more comfortable than shorts. So far I'm loving the Castelli's, comfort is excellent and they look great. It's a little hard to describe but I feel disassociated from the saddle in a good way :-) 5'8" 156 lbs and I'd say they are as snug as I'd go....
Have had several pairs of these. Great fit, quite durable. Would not change brands.
So far I`m impressed with the comfort and material from which these bibs are made. I can`t vouch for durability yet, but they feel great on the bike.
Excellent shorts, they seem a bit tougher than other brands
These are the most comfortable cycling bibs I have ever worn. And they wear well, hour after hour, kilometer after kilometer.
6' 180lbs, XL was perfect. The chamois is superior to anything else I have ridden. I bought two and I'm ordering two more. The price is great, no tax and free shipping. The End
Worth the money! Quality and feel is outstanding. Just did 70 miles in them and I'm in love.
5'11'', 190 lbs - size L
Large fits great -5'10", 180 lbs, 32 inseam. The best price worldwide and fast shipping to the US.
Nice good quality bib shorts, normally I wear Medium for other brand but be sure to buy a size up at least for Castelli.
Superb fit offering a good level of support, Progetto pad is one of the best I`ve used, good comfort without bulk. Might feel a little short in the body when stood but this disappears when in position on the bike.
