Castelli Nanoflex 2 Pro Cycling Bib Tights – AW21
Introducing Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric. Eight years have passed since Castelli pioneered nanotechnology coatings in cycling clothing to provide a higher level of water protection without sacrificing breathability or stretch. Castelli never stopped working on improving the fabric, and after numerous small improvements Castelli ready with the first major update.

This is a serious training tight, so it gets our Progetto X2 Air seat pad. For total protection in the high-splash area of the inner leg, Castelli use a fully reflective waterproof fabric that adds a high degree of nighttime safety to this tight. The tight is constructed with the bare minimum of seaming, which helps keep the rain out and also makes it more comfortable. This is the best all-around tight that Castelli know how to make with today's technology, but there still working to make it obsolete as soon as possible.

Castelli Size Charts

Mr LaneUsed on very wet roads after a big storm with a lot of spray from the front wheel. Stayed dry for 2 hours of these conditions, only slightly damp after the ride. Also repelled a couple of showers well. Warm at temperatures of 2 - 8 degrees, would probably be fine down to freezing or below and up to 10 degrees. I am 5'8", 72kg and ordered the medium which was a compressive fit. Swapped for the large for a more relaxed fit commensurate with winter training miles.
AdrianThese tights are very comfortable at temps down to -5 or so. The fit is snug. I normally wear a medium, and that size is just a bit snug for me in these. The pad is great - firm padding, good for all day.
AndyChemI'm 185cm/78kg and Large fits well ... except leg length is 7-8 cm too short. That said, I was quite comfortable on a 2 hr ride at 8C in occasional drizzle (Haven't tried in real rain yet) and water beaded up as expected. The pad is very comfortable. I down-rated due to short legs ... at the price of the tights I expect there to be a "long" version to be available.
