It's hard improving on perfection. Last year's version of this jacket was called the Gabba long sleeve jacket, but Castelli have now gone back to reserving the Gabba name for the original short sleeve jersey. After hearing so many people call the long-sleeve version of the Gabba "perfect" they renamed this version the Perfetto jersey and set about improving on perfection. Castelli have increased the effectiveness of the water-repellent finish so it will keep you drier while remaining just as breathable; they've refined the fit and laser cut the drain holes in the pockets as well as completely redesigning the splash flap on the rear of the jersey to help it lie flatter and fit better while reflective logos on the back keep you visible – Perfetto!

Great Jersey, water-resistant, ideal during the cold season
As expected, the fit is tighter than usual. Go up one size. However, just remember, doing so will mean the sleeves and tail will be longer. Luckily it fit me perfectly. Now I just hope I don't gain a pound. The quality of Castelli is top notch. For this sale price... it's totally worth it.
Looked for a jersey to cope with Nordic spring/summer weather. It's the end of June and we have very irregular weather, temperatures around 10-15 celsius, rain and hail showers around the corner. This jersey copes with these conditions very well. I was somewhat concerned with the italian sizing as I am 194 cm/6'4, chest 114/45" so I went for the XXL, which proved to be the correct size. It is slightly loose around the collar in this size but overall the fit is good for me. Sleeves are relatively long.
First impressions are that it's simply perfetto. As usual for castelli plenty of details to be appreciated - sleeves around the elbows have additional insulation, drop tail with gripper to cover your rear, zip is covered up, neck has additional padding for anti chaffing. Good wind and water resistance. Bit cool until you start moving... ie wouldn't work for touring without a baselayer but for . Used in 5-10C so far. Will see how it keeps "cool" up to the upper advertised limit of 15C. I usually wear an XL in castelli & other italian brands and no exception here.
Every bit as good as I expected. I've ridden for 30 minutes in rain showers and 10C with a base layer underneath, and arrived dry and warm. The sizing chart is accurate - I'm 185 cm / 78 kg and the XL is a great fit
Very, very slim design. Size L was a perfect fit for my teenage son who's 5'11, 150 lbs with long arms. Cut is race tight. Fabric is stretchy and light, breathes well. Looks striking in person. Great choice for racing, if you can fit in.
Excellent jersey, worn today in app 10c for 100k ride with only a light sleeveless base layer and temperature was perfect the whole ride. Medium size is good fit for my 180cm and 72 kg skinny body, I ordered a large initially however it was too baggy. Only downside is the drop tail which just rides up when you are on the bike, it seems a bit useless to me, I am sure an Ass-saver would be more effective at keeping road spray off your backside..... hence only 4 stars
Excellent quality. Not 100% waterproof but good for heavy showers etc. XL was a good race fit for 5'11" athletic build
Lovely top but I had to return it as it is designed for people who are very tall, I am 5ft 9" 38"chest, size L is perfetto for the body but unperfetto in length.
