Castelli Perfetto Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey - SS18
It's hard improving on perfection. Last year's version of this jacket was called the Gabba long sleeve jacket, but Castelli have now gone back to reserving the Gabba name for the original short sleeve jersey. After hearing so many people call the long-sleeve version of the Gabba "perfect" they renamed this version the Perfetto jersey and set about improving on perfection. Castelli have increased the effectiveness of the water-repellent finish so it will keep you drier while remaining just as breathable; they've refined the fit and laser cut the drain holes in the pockets as well as completely redesigning the splash flap on the rear of the jersey to help it lie flatter and fit better while reflective logos on the back keep you visible – Perfetto!

Sizing Information for Castelli Clothing:
Great piece of clothing.
6'2" - slim but not skinny, the XXL fits perfectly, could have gone one size down for a very race-fit.
I've been wearing this for commuting/training at 0-12C with just a winter LS merino baselayer underneath and I was nice and warm (I get cold easily).
Vents on the sides work well when it gets warmer and generally speaking the breathability of the jacket is surprisingly good even on an intense workout.
Haven't worn it in heavy rain yet - the classic English drizzle bounces off, the storm flap tail at the back is very well designed, not getting in the way when jumping on/off the saddle.
I struggled to fend off the spiders living in my wallet - totally worth it though, especially on sale.
Very comfortable fit - XL for me at 184cm and 80kg is fairly snug. Worn with a merino baselayer, worked well at about 5-7 degC and I was warm enough over a 90 minute ride. The windproofing works very well. I haven't tried the water resistance as yet but went out in very wet conditions with a thin GoreTex top layer and this also worked well with very little sweat build up so breathability of the Castelli (and my top layer) seems very good. Like all Casstelli kit, quality is excellent with no deterioration after washing. This should last for years. Merlin pricing with loyalty discounts etc. beat all others.
