The Castelli Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve Jacket gives you unbeatable dry-weather comfort whilst keeping you protected when the rain picks up. A stalwart garment with superb wind and rain protection – if you’re looking for to invest in a lasting, do-it-all jacket with an understated look, this is your ideal match. Bringing the widely lauded Perfetto into the Rain or Shine (RoS) family, this new jacket is a remarkable feat of garment innovation. Worrying about potential weather conditions before setting out on a ride will be a thing of the past – simply layer up according to the temperatures expected and enjoy your winter training. The new Gore-Tex Infinium fabrics utilised in the Perfetto RoS Long Sleeve are the result of a dedicated collaboration between Castelli’s R & D team and Gore – offering unrivalled, high-grade water protection, keeping you dry when you encounter those inevitable rainy showers. The body-mapped dual fabric construction is ideally suited to winter training. The warm brushed fabric on the front offers optimal water resistance just where it’s needed on exposed areas, and the lightweight stretch fabric on the rear gives much needed ventilation, whilst maintaining water repellent properties.

Taped shoulder seams offer you extra water resistance on vulnerable areas and the dropped tail on the rear ensures that wheel-spray is kept away. An innovative two-panel pocket design on the rear means that you can easily access essentials even with gloves on – a partial internal divider enables you to store a pump efficiently, again promoting ease of access. The premium-grade YKK zipper is covered by additional Gore fabric to protect you when the weather turns. The lack of internal insulation in the jacket material lends it a highly useful versatility. If you’re riding in moderate conditions, simply wear the Perfetto over a base layer, or for more cool climates wear over a thermal jersey. Heat regulation can be fine-tuned with the zipped ventilation opening on the sides.

Mr Hardy Highly recommend this product, used in really cold -3 conditions with thermal base layer and had no issues at all. Ive been in heavy rain and it kept me dry I'm just waiting for the sun. I do like the pump insert in one of the rear pockets but i would have preferred 3 pockets ....not a show stopper though. Great product for the price

Mr Rosenbloom A superb jacket for autumn/spring wear. When ordering make sure you are aware that the sizing is odd. I had to get an XXL but on most other clothing brands I'm a large/medium. Never the less in the correct size it fits snug with no billowing in the wind. The pockets carry everything I need but beware if you put a phone in your rear pockets and it rains. The water runs down the jacket through the pockets and out through the 'drain holes' . Overall it's the best alround top I've got and in fact I have 3 of them in different colours.
Paul the Painter Excellent jacket for autumn and warmer winter days. Really well tailored and the two pockets easy to access with gloved hands. Keeps out showers but don't rely on it as a true waterproof. I already have one in size 2XL which is too big for me now due to weight loss so went with a large this time. Fit is just right for a skinny 5'11" 10 stoner. Bought red this time and slightly disappointed in the shade of it but hey we need to be seen out there on busy roads.
Mr Lever Great jacket in cold damp conditions, no need to wear an additional rain jacket during showers. It is definitely a racing fit and not suitable if you've added a few lockdown pounds.
Mr Cyclist Excellent piece of kit and for such a great price from Merlin's. SIzewize I would advise you to take one up from your usual Castelli sizing as it is quite snug, especially around shoulders and armpits. Otherwise absolute Perfetto.

Anthony Perfect jacket, have wore in out in the rain, 2hrs of rain and it kept the water out. Fit is good, I went with 3XL . I have a gabba top and this is the big brother of it.

Mr Wood Fantastic jacket. Orange is mega bright, no excuses for motorists to miss you. Beware if you have a bit of beef on your shoulders and arms this will be a tight fit, I had to substitute an XL for a XXL to get perfect fit.

Woody Superb jacket. Went for XL, 41 inch chest & broad shoulders, tight when upright but clicks into place nicely in cycling position. Orange colour is very bright but styling is cool enough to stop you looking like a construction worker. Comfortable with a thin base and short sleeve jersey for 5am October commutes, base and jacket only for warmer hard efforts. Top piece of kit.
