Customize your display. CatEye’s New Micro Wireless allows you to select the functions you want on your display, so what matters to you most remains in full view.
The new Micro Wireless allows you to select the data you want to see on your display and keep it there - no more scrolling through functions. 9 functions and 10 features, including a backlight, dual tire size recognition and stop watch mode to track your commuting time or a training ride.
All of this, in a simple, slim design that mounts to the stem or handlebar with the easy to use FlexTight bracket.
Excellent small product. Buttons a bit fiddly at first on the rear but easy to put together and assemble easily on the bike. Once set up, going through the sheet manual, you have to think a bit about it, but it 'rocks' back and forth to change the display, so once you get that, it's easy to see miles/speed etc. Highly recommended!
Fantastic little computer, a little fiddly to set up but does the job, well made and good value.
Fast service, and good price. Reset button is a bit quirky. You have to really concentrate and use a finger nail. Certainly not possible on the move. Quite happy otherwise.
Well made and great functionality. Resetting data requires pressing a tiny button at the same time as depressing the main body of the computer which is a bit fussy.
Simple to set up and use. The only negative is the night light button is on the back
This is a great computer for the price. Very easy and quick to fit and simple in use. Excellent service as well from Merlin, ordered at 3pm on Friday and received by 10am on Saturday. Five stars all the way.
As always from Merlin a good price, and great delivery. The only issue with this item is the quality of the instruction manual, which is not easy to follow. The computer once you manage to work out the instructions is good for the price, but the poor instructions would make me think twice about Cat Eye in future. This though is a manufacturers issue and should in no way reflect on Merlin.
Cateyes quality is undebatable. It has a reliable, slim, yet robust look. Definetely a must-buy item for every cyclist.
Fantastic computer, includes a backlight for night riding. Wireless works well, doesn't lose connection.
I have been using a Cateye computer on my mountain bike for over 15 years with no problems what so ever. When I needed another computer for my road bike I didn't hesitate to choose another Cateye product.
Great product, nice design, easy to set.
Great computer for a mountain bike. I have used it already in an adventure race; the large size of the graphics help in adverse conditions
Good product but instructions leave a bit to be desired; tiny print so we had to download the .pdf and it's a little fiddly to get the buttons pressed in the right sequence. Overall great value for money for a computer with so many features.
This is my first bike computer. It was easy set up and is east to use. A excellent bike computer.
Great function and reliable
Great price for such a neat little computer. The 3 line display is a great feature, as is the backlight which comes in very handy in these winter months.
Still getting used to this computer. I chose it for the temperature reading. Not an obvious must-have feature, but I probably look at that more than anything. One-touch operation is simple to operate but takes some learning. Not sure how worthwhile the ETA capability is but the distance graph is a useful at-a-glance progress measure. Setting up was a bit fiddly, and as my stem has a slight rise, some kind of wedge to level up the display would have been handy, but otherwise easy to read. The cumulative mileage/time/CO2 feature is interesting - showing data for a day, week, month etc. The backlight button is on the back and no good with gloves.
Really please with this micro computer much more convenient than my wired version. Thanks.
Compaired to the old micro it took a bit of getting used to but once you figure out how it works its spot on great upgrade with good features plus Merlin was the cheapest around
This is a very neat piece of kit the design of which has obviously been heavily influenced by current iPhone style. Setting up using the included pictorial instruction sheet is a waste of time and I took the advice previously given to print off the online version which is better although still tricky to follow. There seems to be an issue resetting the D2 trip but this is covered by a correction note. Fitting is straighforward and the unit sits well on the stem or bars although removal is easier from the stem. The attachment of the small magnet to a spoke seems a little vague although mine is still in place after two weeks. In use it works well and changing from one readout to another is a positive click. Good value for a basic computer with good looks and quality components.
Very easy to fit, does its job well and looks much tidier on the bike than a non- wireless computer. Easy enough to use after a read through the instructions.. Great value for money IMO
A great little unit, very different to my Strada and to my surprise much larger! Don't be mislead by the 'micro' part. That aside, works great and tend to just let the ODO run.
The 1st thing you notice is the quality, it is very well made and feels solid. It is very easy to install on your bike and anyone who has ever fitted a computer before won't have any problem installing it without needing to refere to the manual. The setup on the other hand becomes unnecessarily cumbersome due to the included pictorgram manual and my advice would be to refer to the online manual first (which is much better) to make some sense of the pictograms. Once setup everything should be straightforward and it's nice that you can configure the display to show what you want except for the current time, i personally don't want the time displayed constantly whilst cycling it would be nice if this was changeable. My only other gripe is trying to reset the unit ready for the next ride. This is something which should be straightforward but for me it keeps trying to switch the backlight on or off!! And gets very annoying. All in all I would say its a good computer once set up with the exception of the reset
I previously had a wired Sigma Sport 660 I think.
Anyhow after many years the wired snapped, so I took a stab at this new version of the Cateye wireless micro.
Really like the ability to see the time, current speed and whatever the selected function may be.
Straight forward to set up. Moderate price, with multi functions.
Good basic micro computer. Somewhat limited transmission distance but not worth a star.. works as intended. Fast shipping from Merlin, great price as always.
Easy to fit and get started. Looks smart and works well.
Great price and device from Merlin.
Great bit of entry level kit, even I managed to fit it without any bits left over! It does everything I need and is easy to operate. Perfect for my level of non club cycling but suspect it would do the job easily for club cyclists too.
First class service from the guys at Merlin - many thanks.
The Cateye Micro Wireless seems to be the no-nonsense cycle computer I was looking for - yet with a cool, glossy style - matching the lady recipient's iPhone!!
I was delighted to receive the computer so quickly. This was for a present and the recipient is very pleased with it.
It is my first time to use a computer when riding. This cateye micro wireless computer is a great one. It is easy to set and fit on the bike. Having two information on the screen can make me access information easily while riding. Strong performance on bad weather, I used it in heavy rain and it seems to be totally waterproof. Also I can spend a relatively cheap price to have both wireless and back light on it. I rate it as a very high cost-performance one.
