I bought a Volt 1200 when I needed a brighter light when riding on country roads or mountain roads at night. As expected, it is very bright and clear. However, you should adjust the angle of the light to prevent the glare of the riders coming from the opposite side due to the great light. As the weather gets warmer, I am really looking forward to the night riding that will actually begin.
The price was a lot cheaper than I could get anywhere. Delivery speed was as promised and was packaged properly. There is no doubt that this is a quality bike light. You'll see and be seen. Regarding the latter, I found to use the lowest setting the most as I would actually blind myself with reflecting light from the road. I highly recommend to adjust this with care so you don't blind anyone. 10/10.
Really good light for winter season, enough light for doing MTB and for sure more than enough for road.

The Cateye Volt 1200 light is great. It is bright enough for any keen cyclist, with a good choice of modes for varying conditions. You may have to aim the beam downwards on some settings to prevent dazzling oncoming motorists. One happy customer.
This light is powerful enough to light a very dark cycle path and allow me to travel at speed. It's not the lightest unit, but I'd rather carry a few extra grams and be able to see where I'm going.
Powerful light excellent for lighting up dark country roads well into the distance. Good range of brightnesses and flashing / constant modes.
Crazy bright - like a motorcycle headlamp. The main setting is too much for road but brilliant for off-road. Burn time from new is actually even more than they state, let's see how it lasts. Well built and not too bulky. IMO the best light at this price point.
