Aidan Absolutely brilliant at wicking away sweat . I have used it at night with a Planet X 365 Illuminati Maximus Jacket 16-19 degrees at night. The Jacket has poor breathability and this keeps me pretty dry
Ted This is a very light base layer and I like it like all my craft bases. I don't think its cold-black so while its light, in the black color you do feel some solar heating if you wear it alone
Mr huletsky Great base layer, a must here in Québec by the way this is a third reorder
Mr huletsky This is a reorder great as a cool summer day baselayer
Mr Khalifa Al Bedwawi A fabulous, lightweight product that absorbs sweat. I use it under the jacket, soft on the skin and comfortable for all riding positions
Vaughan The sizing on Craft clothing is the same as English sizing so the small size is a perfect fit for me. I'm 5ft 6ins, weigh 62kg, have a 30ins waist and a 36ins chest. The fabric has a silky smooth feel to it apart from the areas on the back which offer more ventilation. This base layer is intended for use in warm conditions as it is meant to have a cooling effect on the upper body. As I've purchased it in autumn time I can't comment on its qualities in use yet as I haven't had a chance to test it out. The 'V' on the neck is a shallow cut rather than a deep cut and so doesn't look much different to a crew neck but will offer a bit more ventilation I suppose.
Darren Fits great and has good ventilation. The material is a little prone to picking up static, though.
Mr. 6 This is my 2nd baselayer from Merlin by Craft. Same good quality and good fit. I'm 6' and 164 lbs and I choose M this time instead of L.
Mr White Ideal for early winter/spring and a good bargain at the price.
Mr huletsky This a repeat purchase. Perfect baselayer around 20 C
Mr norden Very close fit was ultra comfortable on night ride
Mr OZKAN I am 193cm and my chest is 104cm, the fit is good, sleeve length is long. It never makes a bad smell after use, top quality base layer.
Mr denney Lightweight, well made and breathes nicely, exactly what I was after.
Mr Morris These base layers feel really good, they are thin and light but are supposed to be and fit great under other tops. I cannot tell that I am wearing it which is great over long rides. Price from Merlin was really good as well. Would definitely recommend.
Mr Wright I really like these tops, soft and cool feeling on the skin. But the sizing is way off. By the measurements, I should be an XL, but even the L could be tighter on me, given that it's a baselayer with some stretch.
Pigeonwing Athletic fit, yet sleeves a little short. Excellent ventilation. 1st choice for extended runs in the sun. Craft's white shirts stain easily yet white stays so cool, it's worth it. I'm 6'2", 165lbs, 3:22 Marathon. The large was a little loose but a good compromise for the length in the arms and shoulder fit.
Mr Huffman If you haven't taken the Rapha challenge and started wearing an undershirt (let's call it what it is!) when cycling, give it a try. It's a great feeling. I prefer wool, but this serves very nicely.
the pedalist As always, Craft came up with a very good product. These kept me cool a hot ride and kept me protected from the sun as well. I have never considered long sleeved baselayer for summer before but will definitely reach for this from now on.
Mark James Craft base layers are perfect, a good fit and very effective
Mr Ecob Ordered small. I'm 5ft 7in with a 37in chest and it's too large. Returned for XS and it fits fine. Good quality and now happy with purchase.
