Chris Starkie Having had a bargain basement headset press for the last 10 years, finally getting a good one made the whole job much easier. Had a much easier time installing headsets, and with some adapter plates, a press fit bottom bracket too. Should have bought sooner. Only downside is there isn't a quick release function so you have to wind it through all the threads, but I can quite happily deal with that. Great product at a great price.
Mr BELL Very nicely made tool.
Neal Bought this headset press as I didn't want to pay a gazillion pounds for a park tools one. Fitted a canecreek headset on my old Rockhopper with no issues. Very easy to use and is very well made. Would totally recommend it! My new Reba's have been happy no problems at all.
mark Very well made German tool here. I think it's better than the park tool equivalent and much cheaper.
Wane I used this press to install my new headset and it worked very well. No special install tools required, as the tool fit the cups very closely. I would highly recommend it. The headset went in easily and straight!
Mr Barrera Easy to assembly and use. It's a must tool for a shop or if you are a passionate bicycle owner so your headset cups are perfectly aligned and with no damage.
Mr Nackovski Excellent quality to price ratio on this tool. A bit slower to use than the Park equivalent because of the screw thread, but it actually feels sturdier in use. The only drawback is the potential to lose the three piece thrust bearing- not sure why Cyclus use this style bearing on all their tools when one piece bearings are available. This is a minor complaint though. Excellent build quality. At Merlin's price, this tool is an absolute bargain.
