DT Swiss PR 1600 Dicut 21 Clincher Road Wheelset - 700c
Offering a precisely balanced ride between low weight reactiveness and tough build reliability, the PR 1600 DICUT 21 works for the strongest of riders. Tubeless ready and with a high-end aluminum rim it is equally at home on long weekend rides collecting vertical as it is on a quick evening ride to forget everything office related. Its precisely machined hubshells and the light-but-strong bladed spokes are World Tour proven, if you decide to get into race mode. Always good to know.

These are excellent wheels, very silent but quick engagement freehub, really stiff when stomping on the pedals but still provide a very smooth, almost floating, ride (mounted with 25mm tires and latex inner tubes). At 1506 grams for the pair, they are almost bang on spec. Braking is excellent with the blue SwissStop BXP pads.
Understated lightweight alloy wheels that tick all the right boxes. Loving the almost silent rear hub. These are my first set of DT Swiss wheels having used Mavik, FF & Shimano product in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to order DT Swiss products in the future.
Replaced the stock Axium Elites on my Cube road bike with these lovely wheels. I realize that the Axium's are not high end wheels but shedding about 400 grams in a wheelset is pretty amazing! I can feel the difference: climbs are easier, acceleration is quicker. They come ready to run tubeless and with a set of tubeless-ready tyres, it made the bike feel smoother as well although I have heard some say that the TR tyres feel harsher. Maybe it's my imagination? In any case, you can run tubes if you prefer and to be honest, there isn't a huge benefit to running tubeless on a road bike unless you want to run low pressures or go off-road. The hubs are excellent (DT-350 spec) and easy to maintain, the bearings are high quality and well sealed. It's early days so I can't comment on rim strength but DT Swiss rims are usually excellent in that regard. Spoke are straight pull and bladed. Truing is a little trickier but I don't expect to have to do that for a long time. I mounted Conti All-season 28s and a set of Maxxis Padrones. Both went on with just fingers, no tyre levers required. Overall this wheelset appears to be excellent quality and weight and I couldn't find any other factory wheelset in this price range that was as good. Very pleased so far.
Fantastic wheels, very light, stiff, very quiet, I recommend you especially for this money you will not find anything better on the market Bart
Bought these as an upgrade for the well worn OEM Axis wheels on my Specialized Roubaix. Straight off the bat is a reduced weight bonus these give on the climbs and sprints, certainly noticeable. Stiff, responsive which makes a BIG difference on the corners. DT Swiss build quality is solid and although it's early days they're still true. Smooth rolling, a joy to spin on.
Great set of wheels, and a good deal on them. Wheels are very light, and have nice sound to the freehub, not overly loud. Very confidence inspiring knowing you have DT Swiss build quality. Strong wheels, as well..... put to the test on a pot hole
These replaced the stock wheels on My Specialized Tarmac and what a difference. Accelerating and climbing is better, but so is cornering and comfort too. Great service from Merlin for competive price and quick delivery.
