Firstly. Top drawer service from Merlin from order to delivery. Now to the bike. The pictures do not in anyway do this machine justice. The paint work and detailing is of the best quality. The gearing 52/36 on the front and 11/25 at the back are a perfect match and in my opinion should be the standard. Full Ultegra kit faultless as you would expect. I am 6'6 and the XXL frame is a perfect fit, I do not like being all over a frame with feet of seat post on show. The frame is`nt just made of carbon, the engineers have mixed it with dilithium crystals from the engine room of the USS Enterprise, Yep the bike is that fast! When you start to wind it up and get down onto the drops it screams to go faster. It certainly is a race machine but then again comfortable when all you want is a gentle spin out. The handling is faultless both in and out of the saddle. My only fear is that I will never do this fabulous bike justice.
