Fizik Aliante R5 Kium Road Saddle

The Aliante is 1 of Fizik's 3 Spine Concept™ Men’s Road Saddle shapes.  Of these 3, the Aliante shape is the widest and most longitudinally waved. Fi’zi:k launched the first Aliante in 1999.  During the intervening fifteen years it has become one of the most loved and favoured saddles in the world, by both pros and enthusiasts alike

If you have a relatively low degree of spinal flexibility (more than 90 degrees between your straight legs and back when bending over as far as you can, keeping your legs straight a shoulders’ width apart), you are a Bull.  Your degree of Spinal flexibility will top out quite quickly when attempting to adopt the performance position.  For this reason you will rotate you pelvis fully.

  • Rail: K:ium
  • Scuff guards on either side towards rear of saddle
  • Integrated Clip System: Yes
  • Length: 265mm
  • Width: 140mm
  • Weight: 245g

Mr PinaMy favorite saddle, tested many with pressure relief channel but this one, without any fancy tecnologies, is the most confortable for me. It is also not heavy, at 226g in my scale.
JamesBought as a spare because I find my current R5 fits better than any other saddle I have tried. Great price from Merlin.
Mr lambBrilliant saddle, checked the fizik app, apparently I was a bull, bought the saddle and it's really comfortable, great price as well, so getting the right saddle makes all the difference, delivery time was quick so all in all I can recommend this saddle.
MelNice looking well made, comfortable light saddle at a good price.
Mr PinaFizik is right, I am a bull and this saddle is perfect fit to me!
Mr MayerThey're my favourite saddles so when I see them at this kind of price, I order. I have 11 bikes and now all but one have the Aliante saddles on them. The final bike is a beach cruiser. That would be weird.
