Mr santiagovery well designed saddle, i loved the relief channel. i have yet to put more miles on it. so far im happy.
Mr TurunenReally nice. Had the cheaper one in my last bike and accidentally sold it with the bike. Well i had to get the same saddle. It's so comfortable with longer rides.
Mr RobinsonReally good saddle, I've done a couple of 100 mile rides since fitting it snd it's very comfortable
Mr DaviesThe most comfortable saddle I've used (and that includes well-worn Brooks saddles). It's also light, which is a bonus.
Excellent, prompt service from Merlin Cycles
CSThis is a great saddle. It fits me perfectly and the Ti rails adds to the comfort. The padding has been fine on 4 hour rides and I would say this is the best saddle which I have had for a long, long time. The bonding of the padding and cover to the saddle base, works really well and helps comfort on the UK roads.
JayI don't think there is much point in talking about the comfort of a saddle as it seems that what works for one person is almost as unique as their fingerprint. With that said, I will allow that found this saddle reasonably comfortable out on the road and less so in the trainer. What I didn't love about it mostly comes down to the cover. First off, it's smooth but certainly not slick and doesn't really allow fore-aft adjustments without picking yourself up a little. A few others had noted this and I certainly found it to be less than optimal. The other issue I had with the microfiber was that it didn't clean up well. I took one ride outside where things were a bit sloppy and some road spray found it's way onto the saddle top. I tried numerous cleaning options and could never get the spots to fully disappear. I can only imagine what it would have looked like after a few months of spring riding. I have sold this saddle and moved on.
Captain BEveryone is different but for me this shape works. I also find the saddle does a good job of filtering out road vibrations on chipseal roads.
Mr StapletonI bought the saddle because of a problem that I have been having with saddle soreness anytime I spend more than an hour on my bike. I tried a bunch of different saddles and this one seems to work the best. I think its because the central cutout is a little bit wider at the rear than other saddles. It is well made and lighter than most saddles. The padding is firm but not to the point that your sitbones get sore.
