Fulcrum Racing 3 C17 Clincher Road Wheelset
All-rounder, Endurance, Training, Sporty… the words that can be used to describe this model are infinite. It is a wheel that has always been chosen as the ideal mid-range solution and has heaps of character. With the Racing 3 you can't go wrong and this is still the case even though all aspects have been updated.
The first and more important feature is the aluminium rim for traditional brakes with a 17 mm groove and featuring new shapes and harmonious milling in line with the outer edges, without adding any superfluous weight and creating a highly pronounced central supporting structure. This is a sturdy and comfortable wheel ideal for long distance cycling thanks to the enhanced shock absorption guaranteed by its bladed aerodynamic steel spokes. It also features a extremely smooth rolling action thanks to the bottom bracket cup technology which is a guarantee in itself. Reliable and ultra-stylish there is no need to compromise with this wheel.

Rob Excellent wheels and I have had no problems at all. Roll on the better weather.
Mr Dennis I only have about 200 miles on them. At this point I am very satisfied with these wheels. Roll smoothly and silently and they look great! Installed a set of 25C Continental GP5000's with normal effort for new tires. The 25's fit well on these wheels. I think 23's would be too narrow and 28's would bulge.
Mr Godbold My first venture into a set of proper wheels to change out a pair of stock alexrims that came with my bike after almost 3 years of constant use. The Fulcrums have transformed the bike into a completely new ride. The wheels feel responsive and just seemed to carry. Super happy with them!!

IR These wheels have replaced a pair of Fulcrum 3’s bought in 2010. There are clearly some visual differences in the latest wheelset but the performance remains very similar if not just a bit better. Comfort levels are good on long rides, handling is sharp with no discernible flex when out of the saddle climbing. Just like my old pair these will be my year round training and Audax set. Very happy and a safe purchase.
Simon Replacing a pair of Fulcrum racing 6 with 3's, first thing I noticed was how quiet the wheels are compared to the 6's. My specialised feels like a brand new bike again, fast accelerating and true in the corners. Buying from Merlin, they had all the options I could choose from and the price, even after import duties in NZ, was super competitive.
