Mr stork Tried these out today on 100km ride in Lanzarote. Comfortable to wear and appear to be good quality. I am 75kg and 180cm, Bought large which are tught fit but comfortable for me.
Mr Hagger Comfortable material. Good value.
Mr To Great shorts, not at all flattering on a fat gut but do what you want. Very comfortable.
Mr Kaiwai Comfortable and great price
Mr S Very comfy
Mr M Good pad and comfy wide straps
bryan Nice comfy shorts with nice graphics around the legs, great pad, I regularly ride centuries and these are excellent.. follow the Size chart it's spot on.. I've been riding for decades and the 3 pairs of bib shorts I now own are all Funkier.. For good reason, excellent quality at affordable prices...
Mr Robinson It is really good for a long ride up to 4 hours
Mr Spilsbury Got these s a birthday present and so far have only done a 30 mile ride but they seem fine a nice pad and comfortable grips around legs
Mr Lillicrap Very pleased with the fit and comfort of these Bib shorts. Will buy again.
Dr Leech Perfect comfort. Nice look.
Mr wilson Great shorts have brought two pairs now, good for long days in the saddle
Allthegearnoidea I've only used on a few shorter rides so far, but please with them. Very nice bib shorts. I'm 6-1, 75kg with skinny legs. Would normally order a large due to my height, but Funkier's directive to use the hip measurement pointed me to a medium and has proved accurate as it fits very well.
Steven I bought a pair of shorts for my wife last year and liking the quality decided to get some bib-shorts for me. They are the same high standard material and generous pad and at a good price. Having just had surgery I haven't used them on the road but tried them on and they fit snugly. I ordered 'M' as I have 31" waist but slightly broader hips. The shoulder straps seem a little tight even though I have a short body but expect some 'give' after wear and washing.
Matthew Gret product very comfy and affordable
Mr Matthews I've tried some other Funkier products and have really enjoyed them! Merlin prices them great and you really get your monies worth and then some. I'll be switching from Canari, LG, and a few others for Funkier products!
Cyclist from the US Well made bib shorts. The chamois was pretty good - worked well for me for 30-50mile rides. Started feeling the saddle a bit more after about 50 miles. I'm about 5'9.5", 152lbs w/ 33" cycling inseam and the fit was pretty good overall, but on the slightly larger side (I ordered the Medium size). The only issues I had with the bibs were that I would occasionally snag on the nose of my saddle as I shift around (I have a fabric scoop flat saddle). Not sure if it's because of the texture of the saddle, or the fabric covering the chamois being just a little bit too lose, allowing it to snag.
Herby My first pair of bib shorts and they didn`t disappoint. Very comfortable on a 70 mile ride with no issues. I went for size medium and I`m 5`10", 32" waist, and they are a good fit.
RK I'm 177cm, 68kg and bought a medium which fits great, although the legs are about an inch shorter than I'm used to. The manufacturers sizing chart is utterly useless so don't even bother. Well designed pad with just the right amount of gel on your sit bones.
Dr McKeon I like the extra padding in the chamois. I bought these shorts because I was suffering from a saddle-sore , which seems to be healing despite riding extra miles.
Mr Mclaughlin I am 6ft 3" and 75kg, originally purchased the Medium and found this to be too tight around the thighs and because of my height, a bit restrictive. However the Large were spot on, tight fitting but comfortable and not restrictive. Previously had a pair of the standard funkier bibs with a normal foam pad, this gel pad is noticeably more comfortable and worth the extra money. I also like the large elasticated bands and the bottom of the legs, it was strange at first and may not be for everyone but I have come to like them. All in all, great value shorts, comfortable and no complaints. But as always with cycling clothing, sizing isn't too close to the manufacturers specifications.
Dr McKeon Great gel shorts! Padded only where you really need it. You won't feel as if you're wearing a diaper. Nice fit. True to sizing chart. Great value!
Mr Rajham Well fitting shorts with a good pad, I bought a second pair.
Paul Great fit. Padded insert is much better than I have seen on other garments.
van dommelen Good quality, size charts worked well for me
