This lid is really nice, I'm very impressed. I've come from an older version Fox Flux which I had no problems with but decided it was time for a new one as I understand they should be changed every 3-4 years (if I have read correctly). I bought the matt Lime, it's a nice hi-viz colour without being blinding which is what I wanted. I use it mostly for commuting and anything that makes you stand out is a bonus. It screams quality and seems to be one of, if not THE best MIPS lid you can get for this price, should be alot dearer. The matt finish looks nice. Straps are blue and contrast nicely with the main colour. I really like the buckle system, not seen one like it and should be very comfortable. I'm in between when it comes to sizing, mediums usually fit but only just and I'm stuck in winter if I want to put a thin cycling beanie under it. Large however is the opposite; fine in winter for the previous reason but no good in summer as it's too loose. I liked the fact that this is uni-size and therefore will adjust to most sized heads. It's a perfect fit once on and fitted properly, even without the strap done up you can move your head around and it doesn't budge and it's not like it has to be super-tight, it kind of 'cups' your forehead and the back of your head. Looks good on, it isn't too big of a helmet so you won't look like a lollipop, I'd imagine even if you have a smaller size head it would still look fine. Also is extremely light weight. All in all I am super-stoked with my new lid, well worth the extra £10 that it cost for extra piece of mind in having the MIPS on board as well. May even purchase another one sometime as a back up. Just don't tell the wife...
Quality helmet. Nice feel. Not too bulky. Light. Good removable visor. It's been tested in the woods and does the job well. For that money, good choice.
