All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro’s MIPS-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider’s brain in certain impacts.
These Helmets are certified with a European CE EN1078 standard. This is a European standard and although the helmet is perfectly safe to use, specific countries may have their own certification which is legally required if you intend to wear the helmet recreationally or in a competitive racing environment. If you are unsure, please check your specific country requirements and check with the manufacturer to see if the helmet has received any additional certification.

Sizing Information for Giro Helmets:
Miss GrettonLight helmet that looks the best on the market at the moment. I've had a Giro Ionos in small size before which fitted pretty well, the Synthe in small seems to be a smaller fit or different shape to my 6+ year old Ionos - there were some points causing pressure that turned out to be where the velcro is to hold the pads in place - It might just be my funny shaped head but a bit of tweaking with these and it fits perfectly.
