Good functional disk
With the V8s on front and back I can now stop on a sixpence. Lovely!
Bought as a direct replacement... Plus, A great price & fantastic service from Merlin as usual.
Bought as a direct replacement... Fantastic service by Merlin Cycles once again.
My order was lost by Royal Mails finest. Merlin re-sent the order at cost to them. Thanks Merlin, if only Royal Mail were as good as you guys. As for the product these are genuine replacement Hayes rotors at a cheap price and fixed a vibration problem that had developed with the old rotor.
These were bought to replace some very well used disks, they were delivered straight and with fixing bolts. Braking performance is great.
Great rotor, sorted out my rear wheel locking up. Very fast delivery from Merlin.Excellent price & sercice as usual.
Great stopping power, as expected, but the 8" loses a star as it will resonate with the tread of your wheel when on hard surfaces (constant annoying noise) and also had a couple of imperfections which made balancing quite tricky. Still, it works like a charm once set up, plus the 6" I have on the back is pretty much perfect.
Got the V6 as a direct replacement, very pleased with them. Wavy profile on the outer edge is different to the original discs, looks more aggressive, better performance than before, but then I have new discs, pads and a freshly bled system.
I upgraded from 160mm to this 203mm and it worked as expected and getting better as they are bedding in. I already had the caliper spacer which didn't quite space it enough even though it was for the 203mm disc, two very thin washers sorted this out and now no longer rubs on the caliper.
