Lake CX160 Road Cycling Shoe
  • Upper: Action Leather Upper: Breathable, Durable & Form fitting. Air-mesh: Breathable & Abrasion resistant.
  • Outsole: Fiberglass-injected Hi-Impact Nylon outsole. Outsole available for 3-hole.
  • Lining: Air-mesh: Breathable & Wicking.
  • Closure: Triple hook and loop closure system for three point adjustability.
  • Competition Last: The Competition last is specifically shaped for optimal power transfer and comfort. Like the CFC race last, the Competition last puts the foot in a position that allows the energy to be focused to the spindle but also offers more room for the forefoot to expand allowing for a comfortable fit for extreme long distance riding.
Comfortable fit and not too narrow. Better cleat position giving me more stability on the pedal. Style is good, looks quite professional in white. At this price they are a bargain.
I was a bit wary of ordering a shoe without having tried it on, but was pleased to find that these fit exactly as expected. I ordered the same size that my Shimano shoes was and that ended up being perfect. (I got a 43 and usually wear a wide US 8/8.5.) The shoe is well built and the stitching on it looks great. I appreciated the metal loops for the velcro. Some shoes in the price range use plastic instead. The sole is decently stiff. There's a bit of flex, but it's not bad. Overall I'd say this is a solid shoe if you're looking for something for long casual rides. At this price it's hard to beat.
Got these for £37 in the sale and cant complain at that price. I almost always have to size up from 44 to 45 with bike shoes and did that with these, but if anything they are probably slightly too big. Better than slightly too small I suppose! Holes on the sole put the cleats quite far across to the bike side which looks odd but isn`t really noticeable once you`re riding.
Bought one size up. Fits perfect.
Great value for an entry level shoe. I would recommend these to any person starting out in the sport
